Effective Ways to Prevent the Use of Inaccurate Information to Reduce Compliance Risk
August 30, 2022 @ 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm UTC+0
Life sciences sales reps need to be prepared for both easy and complex questions from their healthcare providers (HCPs), and don’t always have the time to endlessly search multiple systems and lengthy training materials to get answers.
When pressed for time and unable to recall specific drug information, a representative may go rogue. They’ll search the web for answers they’re unable to easily find in approved training materials. This results in the use of inaccurate information that is not medical, legal and regulatory (MLR)-approved, putting themselves, their HCPs and patients at risk. Ultimately, these actions could have costly compliance, legal and reputation implications.
How do you avoid this situation?
One way is by providing reps quick and easy access to MLR-approved training and content in the flow of work. Making it easy for them to access approved content ensures they are not only quick to respond to HCP requests, but also provide accurate and compliant information.
