Life sciences sales and training leader Greg Adamson of Olympus America has been elected as president of the LTEN Board of Directors. His term begins immediately, replacing Richard Sampson of Cepheid, who has served in LTEN’s leadership role since early 2020. Adamson’s term will run through December 2024.
Adamson is Executive Director, Sales Training, for Olympus, where he has standardized training practices and developed leadership programs. Adamson has more than 15 years of executive experience and has worked for organizations including Philips, St. Jude, Zimmer, and Abbott. His background includes roles in sales, sales leadership, and sales training.
“I’m excited and honored to take on this new role leading the LTEN Board of Directors, and I look forward to what comes next for our network,” Adamson said. “Throughout my membership and my time on the board, I’ve seen what a difference our leadership can make on LTEN and on the careers of our members. The Board will continue to seek ways to meet the ever-changing demands of training in the life sciences space.”
“Greg is a great selection as Board president, and I know he’s going to be an impressive, inspiring leader,” said Lauren Harbert, LTEN executive director. “He’s been a longtime life sciences training leader, and that experience will be invaluable as he oversees, guides and grows our active community. I’m excited to see where we go from here.”
