A large number of LTEN members and their colleagues turned out for the May 22, 2018, LTEN Network After Work mixer, held at the Genentech headquarters in South San Francisco, CA. The mixer was sponsored by Genentech, Illuminate and Red Nucleus, and is the latest in the ongoing series of LTEN member events held around the United States.
The mixer was hosted by Carol Wells – LTEN Board of Directors member and senior director, commercial training & development, for Genentech – and Dawn Brehm, LTEN executive director. Carol and Dawn welcomed the mixer attendees and shared an overview of LTEN prior to the evening’s main presentation.
Carol and Dawn also took part in a panel discussion, along with:
• Liz Austin, director, management and leadership development for Genentech.
• John Honingford, U.S. learning and development lead for Jazz Pharmaceuticals.
• David Nguyen, director of commercial learning & development for Gilead Sciences.
The panel of learning leaders talked about the role learning plays in creating and managing organizational transformation.
Thanks to everyone who attended the event, along with Carol, Liz, John, David and Dawn for their work on the interactive discussion. Thanks also to Vania Cortes of Genentech for helping coordinate the mixer, and also to Genentech, Illuminate and Red Nucleus for sponsoring the LTEN Network After Work mixer.
