Thanks for All You Do!
Thank You – By Tim Sosbe
As we come to the end of this special issue celebrating the winners, finalists and nominees for the 7th Annual LTEN Excellence Awards, it’s only fitting that we send out some final thankyou messages. This year’s virtual awards ceremony hit new heights, just as the number of nominees once again shattered records. In short, everyone put their best foot forward.
So, thanks to everyone involved in this year’s award’s program, including the following folks:
- First and foremost, as always, the nominees themselves. There were more of you than ever before, and truly every nominee deserved a win. Not everyone gets to, but anyone could have. Thanks for entering, and for excelling in a really difficult time.
- We naturally have to mention the judges. The nominees were so plentiful and their work so good that our judges had to go that extra mile. The industry leaders volunteered their time and shared their insights, and the results were not easy choices. Be sure to check out their names with this article, and reach out to share your thanks.
- It’s only fair that we next thank the sponsor organizations that made this year’s incredible awards ceremony happen. Without their support, we would not have been able to expand the vision and scope of the awards ceremony, and the end result is something everyone should be proud of. If you didn’t see the ceremony, you can still experience the event at www.LTEN.org/awards.
- And along those lines, let’s thank those who worked so hard to make it look
so effortless. The LTEN Board of Directors formed an Awards Planning Committee to work with LTEN staff members to help plan and deliver the event, select keynote speaker and emcee Shawn Kanungo (who was amazing) and greet LTEN members at the live virtual event. And the LTEN Field Trainer Committee helped pull together the 2nd Annual Field Trainer Scholarships program to recognize the solid contributions of our front-line colleagues. Thanks to everyone for the start-to-finish support! - That leads to the final – and biggest – thank you, to those who attended the event, either live as it happened or in the weeks since. Your involvement at the program made it memorable and helped support the winners appropriately, and we appreciate the social media messages we’ve seen flying around as well.
OK, one last thank you: Thanks for reading this issue and this article, and for supporting your colleagues and other network members. We look forward to seeing you take part in the 2022 LTEN Excellence Awards program.
