4 New Members Join LTEN Board of Directors
The LTEN Board of Directors has elected four new members: Kristy Callahan of GE Healthcare, Brian Groves of Align Technology, Jim Page of Novartis and Brittany Pilcher of Daiichi Sankyo. Their terms begin immediately.
Kristy Callahan is a learning leader executive, USCAN, for GE Healthcare, a key role in learning & development for the organization. Callahan joined GE Healthcare in that position, after previous senior roles with companies including Baxter Healthcare and AbbVie.
Brian Groves is senior director, Americas sales development, for Align Technology, where he leads an extended team in the United States, Canada and Latin America. Groves has also held life sciences training positions for companies including Bioventus and Bayer.
Jim Page is executive director, customer engagement skills, for Novartis and has served as a member of the LTEN Advisory Council. His life sciences training experience includes senior roles for companies including Sandoz, Shire and Eli Lilly.
Brittany Pilcher, PharmD, is director of oncology business division training and development for Daiichi Sankyo, where she’s worked since 2016. She’s also held positions as a medical science liaison at Daiichi Sankyo and Merz North America, and is a licensed pharmacist.
The new board members were elected to fill seats of previous members who’ve stepped away from the board. They also represent some new connections and opportunities for LTEN members.
“This is an exciting time for the LTEN Board of Directors,” said Lauren Harbert, executive director for LTEN. “Our four new members bring with them new ideas, new approaches and new expertise that will help connect LTEN members even more deeply with today’s life sciences industry. For instance, Brittany Pilcher is trained as a pharmacist and Brian Groves has a background with dental technology – both potential areas of growth for LTEN. Similarly, Kristy Callahan brings an impressive background with some pharmaceutical giants and Jim Page has been a familiar face at LTEN events for a decade and has been a reliable resource on the LTEN Advisory Council. These skills, strengths and connections will help guide LTEN and impact all our members.”
