Waltham, Mass. January 9, 2020. TGaS® Advisors, a division of TRINITY, announced a new hire and several promotions at the life sciences benchmarking and advisory services firm. Ken McDermott was named vice president, Executive Commercial Operations. TGaS also announced the promotions of Karl Kraft to senior vice president, Commercial Solutions; Steve Regan, vice president, Learning & Development; and Chris Weleski, vice president, Marketing Operations and Medical/Regulatory/Legal (MRL) solutions.
McDermott co-leads the Executive Commercial Operations team, sharing best practices for helping commercial leaders optimize, consolidate, integrate, transform, and support major initiatives across the commercial sector. Experienced in executive leadership, sales, marketing, commercial operations, and business development, McDermott came to TGaS from his position as vice president, Commercial Business Development, at Syneos Health (previously INC Research/InVentiv Health). At Syneos, he was responsible for identifying and securing new and expanded business opportunities in the US market, developing relationships and managing accounts across the life cycle of the client’s portfolio, and securing new business. He has also held positions at Janssen, Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson, and Centocor, Inc. He earned a BS in Management/Finance and an MBA in Finance at LaSalle University in Philadelphia.
