The LTEN Advisory Council has added seven new members to its ranks, giving the group broader experience levels, interest areas and professional capabilities. The new members begin serving immediately.
The LTEN Advisory Council consists of training leaders from a variety of life science organizations and provides input to the Board of Directors on programming, events and other decisions that affect the organization. The council also pitches in to help operationalize board directives and realize new programs and opportunities for LTEN members.
Joining the LTEN Advisory Council are:
- Matt Barry, director of learning Solutions and technologies for Astellas Pharma.
- Todd Billingsley, director of coaching and selling excellence for Biohaven Pharmaceuticals.
- Iain Boomer, global learning director for AbbVie.
- Mani Chidambaram, head of commercial development and learning, U.S. General Medicines, for Sanofi.
- Julie Napolitano, director of leadership for Sanofi.
- Michael Ratican, director of global commercial learning and performance for Amgen.
- Julia Taylor, associate director, commercial coaching excellence, for Horizon Therapeutics.
“We’re excited to welcome this varied and impressive group of professionals to the Advisory Council table,” said Dr. Kathleen Herndon, LTEN executive director. “This not only represents the largest expansion of the council since its inception, but it also gives us a wide array of new voices, experiences, expertise areas and professional interests. For members, that means an active Advisory Council with a solid understanding of their specific needs and challenges and the ability to ensure those areas are addressed in all we do.”
