Michelle O’Connor – a longtime LTEN member, a leader on the LTEN Board of Directors and the president and CEO of CMR Institute – has announced her retirement. She’ll be leaving her position at the end of June and will also be resigning her seats on the LTEN Board of Directors and on the LTEN Preferred Industry Partner (PIP) Advisory Council.
O’Connor has worked with CMR Institute for 31 years, the last 12 as president and CEO. She’s been an LTEN member that whole time and has attended the LTEN annual conference for each of those 31 consecutive years. O’Connor has served for eight years as a member of the LTEN Board of Directors, and she’s been a member of the PIP Advisory Council since it was founded in 2018. CMR Institute is a Titanium level sponsor of LTEN, the highest level of supporters.
“Michelle has been an extraordinary partner for LTEN, as well as a committed leader with the best interests of our network always front and center, and she’s been a great personal friend as well,” said Greg Adamson, president of the LTEN Board of Directors. “We’re going to miss her energy, insight and guidance at our meetings. Michelle, thank you and enjoy your well-earned retirement!”
Lauren Harbert, executive director of LTEN and a former CMR Institute executive who worked closely with O’Connor, echoed those good wishes.
“Michelle has been a part of LTEN for so long it’s going to be hard to not see her at events, meetings and mixers,” Harbert said. “I know she’s looking forward to spending time with her grandchildren and I’m thrilled for her, but we’re going to miss her. Having had the advantage of working closely with Michelle both at CMR and LTEN, I know what a committed, strong leader she’s been. She’s going to leave a rich legacy of service and support for both organizations. Michelle, thank you.”
O’Connor shared that LTEN has played a key role in her career, and in the success of CMR Institute.
“It has been an honor to be a part of such a great organization and witness its continued growth over the years,” she said. “I’m deeply grateful to my fellow board members, Lauren and her amazing team, and all my LTEN friends and colleagues for their support and collaboration over the years. I look forward to seeing LTEN achieve even greater success in the future!”
